Repeat Prescription

The safest and easiest way to request your medication is by signing up to SystmOnline and ordering online. Alternatively you can request your prescription in writing at the surgery. The dispensary does not accept incoming phone calls but they do have an answerphone where you can leave any medication queries and they will call you back.

We require three full working days between your request for a repeat and you calling to collect it. If you request something that is not on repeat then a message has to go to the GP before it can be authorised. This can take up to five working days. Winchcombe Medical Centre is able to dispense medications to those patients who live more than one mile away from a retail pharmacy.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
